Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing tripxirides.com or using any services provided by Carevia Transportation LLC (operating as TripXi), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

TripXi provides premium transportation services in the Albany, NY Capital Region, including but not limited to: airport transfers, university transportation, nightlife and event transportation, fine dining rides, corporate transportation, special events, medical transport, and hourly service. All transportation is provided by independent contracted drivers operating under Carevia Transportation LLC.

Passengers agree to:

TripXi reserves the right to terminate any ride without refund if a passenger violates these conduct rules or poses a safety risk to the driver or others.

7. Driver Conduct & Standards

All TripXi drivers are background-checked, licensed, and insured under New York State law. Drivers are independent contractors of Carevia Transportation LLC. TripXi maintains standards requiring all drivers to maintain a minimum 4.7-star rating. Drivers reserve the right to refuse service to passengers who appear intoxicated to the point of posing a safety risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

Carevia Transportation LLC carries commercial liability insurance as required by New York State law. However, TripXi is not liable for:

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific ride giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Albany County, New York. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial and agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules, except for claims under $5,000 which may be filed in Albany City Court.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on tripxirides.com — including the TripXi name, logo, design, and text — is the property of Carevia Transportation LLC. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. Check the "Last Updated" date for the most current version.

12. Age Requirements & Minors

You must be at least 16 years of age to book a TripXi ride or create an account. Passengers under 16 may only travel when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or when the ride is booked by a parent or guardian who accepts full responsibility. TripXi is not responsible for unaccompanied minors and reserves the right to refuse transport if a minor is unaccompanied without prior arrangement.

14. Dynamic Pricing & Fare Adjustments

TripXi uses a smart pricing engine that calculates fares based on distance, real-time traffic, time of day, weather conditions, and passenger count. The fare estimate shown at booking is an estimate only. Final fare is calculated upon trip completion and may differ from the estimate. Once a booking is confirmed, TripXi will not apply additional surcharges beyond those disclosed at time of booking, except for tolls and passenger-caused cleaning fees. Prices are denominated in USD and are inclusive of applicable New York State sales tax.

15. Force Majeure

TripXi and Carevia Transportation LLC shall not be held liable for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather events, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, road closures ordered by government authority, pandemics, strikes, power outages, or any other event that makes performance commercially impractical or illegal. In such cases, TripXi will make reasonable efforts to notify affected passengers and offer alternative arrangements or refunds where possible.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Carevia Transportation LLC, TripXi, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of TripXi services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (d) any damage or injury caused by you or your guests during a TripXi trip; or (e) any false or inaccurate information provided by you at the time of booking.

17. Accessibility & Non-Discrimination

TripXi is committed to providing transportation services that are accessible and non-discriminatory in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable New York State law. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic. Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are always permitted in all TripXi vehicles at no extra charge. Passengers requiring wheelchair-accessible vehicles or other accommodations should contact us at least 24 hours in advance to arrange appropriate service.

18. Lost & Found

TripXi is not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles. If you believe you have left an item in a TripXi vehicle, contact us within 24 hours at contact@tripxirides.com or (518) 880-7528. We will make reasonable efforts to facilitate the return of lost items. A retrieval fee of up to $15 may apply to cover driver time for item return. Items not claimed within 30 days will be donated or disposed of at our discretion. TripXi is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

19. Privacy & Data

Your use of www.tripxirides.com and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. TripXi does not sell your personal information to third parties.

20. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Carevia Transportation LLC with respect to the use of TripXi services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
